APPLICABLE LAW
The Sterling Registry site (excluding linked sites) is controlled by Sterling Registry, Inc. from its offices within the State of New Jersey, United States of America. Since it can be accessed from all 50 states, as well as from other countries around the world, and each of these places has laws that may differ from those of New Jersey, by accessing the Sterling Registry site both you and Sterling Registry, Inc. agree that the statutes and laws of the state of New Jersey, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof, will apply to all matters relating to use of the site and its contents. Sterling Registry PRIVACY POLICY
Under no circumstances will Sterling Registry, Inc. or any of its affiliates sell, barter or give away your personally identifying information to a third party for any reason, including for marketing purposes. Nor will Sterling Registry, Inc. or any of its affiliates ever disclose your personal address book to any party, for any reason. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Sterling Registry, Inc. reserves the right to cooperate with local, state, and federal officials in any investigation relating to any purported illegal activity(ies) of any user.
Sterling Registry SECURITY
We take the privacy of your personal information very seriously. This is why we use Secure Socket Layers (SSL), the most advanced security system available. All of the personal information you enter, including your name, address, credit card information and the contents of your address book, is encrypted by our secure server software into indecipherable bits before it is safely transmitted across the Internet. To ensure that the information from your address book and profile is even more secure, we store it on a server that isn't accessible on the Internet and is password protected. Once we store that information, it won't be displayed anywhere on Sterling Registry.
